Vegan Naan is a soft and fluffy Indian flatbread made without dairy, offering the same delicious taste and texture as traditional naan. Prepared using flour, yeast, and plant-based ingredients, this naan is perfect for pairing with curries, dals, or dips. It is a great option for those following a vegan lifestyle while still enjoying authentic Indian flavors. 

Cooking Method

 

In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it activate for 5–10 minutes. 

 Add all-purpose flour, salt, and oil to the yeast mixture. 

 Knead into a soft dough and cover it. 

 Let the dough rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size. 

 Divide into small portions and roll into oval shapes. 

 Heat a pan or tawa on medium-high heat. 

 Place the naan on the hot pan and cook until bubbles form. 

 Flip and cook the other side until golden brown spots appear. 

 Optionally brush with vegan butter or oil and serve hot.
