Cooking Method


  1.  Chill the goat milk cream thoroughly before churning. 
  2.  Pour the cream into a stand mixer, food processor, or butter churn. 
  3.  Churn until the butter separates from the buttermilk. 
  4.  Drain the buttermilk and reserve it for other recipes if desired. 
  5.  Rinse the butter under ice-cold water. 
  6.  Gently knead to remove excess moisture. 
  7.  Repeat rinsing until the water runs clear. 
  8.  Add salt if desired and mix evenly. 
  9.  Shape the butter into blocks, rolls, or molds. 
  10.  Refrigerate until firm before serving.
