Cooking Method


  1.  In a large pot, add beef and water, then bring to a boil. 
  2.  Skim off any foam from the top. 
  3.  Add onion and garlic, then simmer for about 45–60 minutes. 
  4.  Add corn, carrots, and potatoes. 
  5.  Cook for another 20 minutes. 
  6.  Add cabbage and cook for 10 more minutes. 
  7.  Season with salt and black pepper. 
  8.  Garnish with fresh cilantro. 
  9.  Serve hot with lime wedges and tortillas.
