Wild Rice Soup

Cooking Method

 

  1. Rinse wild rice and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  3. Sauté onions, carrots, and celery until soft.
  4. Add wild rice and broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 40–45 minutes until rice is tender.
  5. Stir in cream and cook gently for 5 more minutes.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
