Pork & Chive Pot Stickers are delicious pan-fried dumplings featuring a juicy pork filling blended with fresh chives and savory seasonings. Crispy on the bottom and tender on top, these classic dumplings offer the perfect balance of texture and flavor. Ideal as an appetizer, snack, or main dish, they pair wonderfully with a tangy dipping sauce. 

Cooking Method

 

  1. Prepare the filling:
    In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped chives, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well until evenly blended.
  2. Fill dumplings:
    Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
  3. Seal pot stickers:
    Lightly moisten wrapper edges with water, fold in half, and pleat edges to seal tightly.
  4. Heat the pan:
    Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Pan-fry:
    Arrange pot stickers flat-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes until bottoms turn golden brown.
  6. Steam cook:
    Add about ¼ cup water to the pan and immediately cover with a lid. Steam for 5–6 minutes until filling is fully cooked.
  7. Finish and serve:
    Remove the lid and cook another minute to re-crisp the bottoms. Serve hot with soy or chili dipping sauce.
