Cooking Method


  1.  In a bowl, mix masa harina, water, and salt to form a dough. 
  2.  Shape the dough into oval, sandal-like forms. 
  3.  Cook on a hot pan until lightly browned on both sides. 
  4.  Heat oil and lightly fry the base until slightly crispy. 
  5.  Spread refried beans over each base. 
  6.  Add cooked meat on top. 
  7.  Top with lettuce, cheese, salsa, and sour cream. 
  8.  Serve warm.
