Cooking Method
Boil milk and add lemon juice to curdle it, forming chenna (paneer).
Strain and wash the chenna with cold water, then squeeze out excess water.
Knead the chenna until smooth and soft.
Shape into oval or cylindrical pieces.
Prepare sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water.
Add the chenna pieces to the syrup and cook for 10–15 minutes until they expand and become spongy.
Remove and allow them to cool.
Garnish with grated coconut or stuff with malai before serving.
