KFC Style Fried Chicken is a crispy, juicy, and flavorful fried chicken recipe inspired by the famous fast-food favorite. The chicken is marinated with herbs and spices, coated in seasoned flour, and deep-fried until golden brown for a crunchy exterior and tender interior. Perfect for family dinners, parties, or weekend treats, this homemade version delivers restaurant-style taste and texture.
Marinate the chicken pieces with buttermilk, salt, pepper, and spices for at least 4 hours or overnight.
In a bowl, combine flour with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and other seasonings.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and coat each piece thoroughly in the seasoned flour.
Dip the coated chicken back into the buttermilk, then coat again with the flour mixture for an extra crispy crust.
Heat oil to 175°C (350°F) and deep-fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and fully cooked.
Drain on a wire rack or paper towels to remove excess oil.
Serve hot with fries, coleslaw, and your favorite dipping sauce.
