Cooking Method

 

  1.  Heat oil in a pan. 
  2.  Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. 
  3.  Add garlic and ginger, sauté briefly. 
  4.  Mix soy sauce, sugar/honey, and mirin, then pour into the pan. 
  5.  Simmer for a few minutes. 
  6.  Add cornflour mixture if a thicker sauce is desired. 
  7.  Cook until the sauce becomes glossy and coats the chicken. 
  8.  Garnish with sesame seeds or spring onions. 
  9.  Serve hot.
