Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Slice cauliflower: Remove outer leaves and trim the stem slightly. Cut the cauliflower vertically into ¾-inch thick “steaks.”
Season: Brush both sides with olive oil. Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper evenly.
Roast: Place steaks on the baking tray and roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and tender.
Add cheese: Remove from oven, sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.
Bake again: Return to oven for 5–7 minutes until cheese melts and becomes bubbly.
Serve: Serve hot as a vegetarian main dish or side with salad or grilled vegetables.
